Adtrans 33rd Annual Charity Golf Day Charity, 2019
An enjoyable day out and for a great cause!
Beginning in 1987 the Adtrans Golf Day is the Adtrans Group’s major charity fundraiser on the calendar, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for various children’s charities.
Adtrans has a long history of supporting its community, including charities and local sporting bodies.
Adtrans has been holding its Annual Golf Day where the Company, together with its business partners, raise significant funds for local charities. 2019 saw us raise nearly $300,000 and all our Dealerships will be busy raising funds towards our 2020 Golf Day.
We are extremely proud to be a part of the Annual Adtrans Charity Golf Day especially when we see what our funds have done for our charities.
Our major Beneficiaries this year are:
$60,000.00 to Backpacks 4 SA Kids
Backpacks 4 SA Kids provide resources that contribute to the care, safety and well being of children and young people during periods of dislocation from home and routine care.
$50,000.00 to Living Without Limits Foundation
The Living Without Limits Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to doing something positive to help children living with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Juvenile Diabetes and Epilepsy.
$50,000.00 to Youth Opportunities
Helping young people understand themselves and giving them the tools and skills to make the right choices for their future.
The Graeme Bignell Award
This award is presented to the Dealership who has the best decorated and themed hole on the day. The other criteria for winning the award is how much money the hole can raise in donations for our chosen charities. The holes can throw up a variety of mini games, challenges and activities outside of the actual golfing! Each year, the dealerships are getting more competitive in what they present so you can be sure to find some imaginative holes to keep you entertained throughout the day!
